Job Role : Endpoint Security Engineer

Job Location : Southport, CT or New York, NY

12+Months Contract
Skills : 4-5 years of Endpoint Security Engineer with Intune, JAMF, Mosyle, patching.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions, including antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Monitor network and endpoint security systems to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security weaknesses.
• Ensure that endpoint security systems are configured and maintained in accordance with security best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with network and systems administrators to ensure that endpoint security solutions are integrated into the organization s overall security posture.
• Research and evaluate new security technologies and make recommendations for implementation.
• Develop and implement security policies and procedures for end-users, including guidelines for password management, email security, and the use of portable devices.
• Respond to security incidents and participate in incident response efforts as required.

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in security operations or IT operations.
• Expertise in managing endpoint security in MS Intune and Mosyle / JAMF for MacOS
• Hands-on experience with EDR solutions
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, patch management, and compliance management tools.
• Should be able to build and deploy packages.
• Experience with endpoint protection technologies like application control, drive encryption, and firewalls.
• Strong understanding of computer management and endpoint security concepts.
• Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required.
