Job Details

We are seeking a Senior Support Specialist for the Large Load Integration team. This position provides administrative and project coordination support for the integration of large flexible loads into the System. Interfaces with Market Participants regularly for project updates. Maintains and develops documentation to ensure compliance with appropriate policies and procedures. Coordinates meetings, processes, and updates internal tracking for individual projects.

JOB DUTIES

  • Provides high level administrative and project support to assigned departments
  • Collects and processes engineering data, coordinates with external and internal data providers on schedule and formats of submitted data, and structures and organizes website postings of data and reports
  • Provides administrative support and assistance to assigned supervisor and staff
  • Administers calendar and tracks due dates related to large load interconnection request studies
  • Processes and handles procurement requests for the division
  • Provides administrative support for staff (meeting organization, et al)
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality regarding privileged information
  • Assists with the change request (NOMCR and SAMR) process flow
  • Works with supervisor and assigned team members to master the basic processes and procedures
  • Typically works independently except on the most complex issues
  • Takes initiative to thoroughly research data to produce the best end product
  • Has the ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways
  • Demonstrates skills as an expert user of software applications relevant to the position


EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of job-related work experience in excess of degree requirements
  • Experience in coordinating and documenting projects


Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Proven ability to build trust with internal and external teams required
  • Proficiency in tools for process mapping, such as Visio, etc. required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint, and project collaboration platforms (e.g. Jira) required
  • Ability to interpret and implement regulations, policies and compliance requirements required
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills required
  • Strong grasp of project lifecycle, risk management, scheduling, and resource planning preferred
  • Experience with stakeholder management preferred
  • Experience working with regulatory bodies or compliance-driven environments preferred


EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business, technology, or related field (Preferred).
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required.

CERTIFICATION

  • CAP Certified Administrative Professional (Preferred)

WORK LOCATION

  • Required to be on-site a minimum of twice a week at the Taylor facilities; or more based on business needs and as determined by the Manager.
