Title: Business Analyst (Strong in Jira, SDLC, WMS & WCS)
Location: Mooresville, IN (100% Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong expertise in Jira, SDLC, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to join our team in Mooresville, IN. The ideal candidate will play a key role in bridging business requirements and technical implementation by creating clear, actionable user stories and ensuring alignment across stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Review and translate business requirements into detailed user stories in Jira.
Independently write and manage user stories without assistance.
Lead and present stories during grooming sessions, confidently addressing stakeholder questions.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technical services (TS) teams, and developers.
Review and analyze bugs, defects, and spikes not implementation or rollout work.
Ensure alignment with the full SDLC process and agile best practices.

Technical & Functional Skills

80% Functional / 20% Technical role.
Strong hands-on experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and working knowledge of WCS (Warehouse Control System Exacta preferred).
Knowledge of Blue Yonder (JDA) and its integration with WCS.
Exposure to LMS (Labor Management System) is desirable.
Excellent understanding of Jira and Agile methodologies.

Communication Skills

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to present confidently to business stakeholders and technical teams.
Strong stakeholder management able to handle questions, clarify requirements, and drive discussions effectively.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in WMS/WCS environments.
Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile processes.
Prior experience working with Blue Yonder or similar warehouse management systems.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and confident professional with ownership mindset.

Additional Details

Local candidates preferred.
Immediate need for a strong BA who can take ownership and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision.
