Description
We are looking for an experienced Print Production Operator to oversee and manage production workflows in our facility located in Paterson, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient operations, maintain high-quality standards, and collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily production activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards.
Utilize ERP and MRP systems to monitor and manage production workflows effectively.
Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve overall production efficiency.
Create and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations while meeting production goals.
Generate reports and analyze data using Microsoft Excel to track and improve performance metrics.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and customers to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
Implement and uphold safety and quality control standards across the production floor.
Coordinate with the networking team to maintain seamless integration of production systems.
Provide training and support to staff on the use of production tools and technologies.
Requirements
Proven experience in a production management or similar role.
Proficiency in ERP and MRP systems, with the ability to adapt to new platforms.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Strong understanding of machinery operations and maintenance.
Familiarity with networking concepts as they pertain to production systems.
Excellent communication skills for both internal team collaboration and customer interactions.
Ability to manage budgets and optimize costs effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
