RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Orem, UT that is seeking a Mid-Level to Senior Electrical/Electronic Design Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects
* Backfill other engineers, focusing on maintenance tasks
* Design and layout circuits, ensuring high-quality electrical designs
* Utilize Altium for parts libraries and part management systems integration
* Engage in high-speed digital and DC power design projects
* Review and answer questions about design intent
* Work closely with vendors and the production team
* Design new PCBs and schematics for product upgrades and future initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar field or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in circuit board design and layout
* Proficiency in Altium is required
* Strong, well-rounded engineering skills
* Experience with high-speed digital design is a plus
* Experience with DC power electronic design and or Power Supply design is a plus
* Background in RF systems or similar is a plus but not required
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
