Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Power BI Analytics Engineer for a remote role within the US.

Essential Functions:
* Designing and developing BI reports and dashboards: This involves understanding the business requirements, designing the data model, and developing visualizations that provide actionable insights
* Data management: Power BI Analytics Engineer is responsible for managing data sets, ensuring they are clean, accurate, and ready for analysis; This often involves data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
* Collaborating with stakeholders: Work closely with various stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and data scientists, to understand their data needs and deliver solutions that meet them
* Ensuring data accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data presented in the dashboards and reports; This involves validating the data and implementing quality checks
* Training end-users: As a Power BI Analytics Engineer, you will train end-users on how to use the dashboards and reports effectively; This includes explaining how to interpret the data and make data-driven decisions
* Troubleshooting and maintenance: Troubleshoot data-related issues and maintain the Power BI infrastructure to ensure its up-to-date and running smoothly

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years of experience in the below:
* Full-stack Power BI Dev with Analytics Engineering
* Data modeling, build interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI
* Ability to work with stakeholders/businesspeople; Ability to present afterward, talk to the numbers, the logic, the filters
* Snowflake, Strong in SQL - required for the -slash role); Developing warehouse objects
* Kimball methodology
* DBT
* Someone good with working with peers, helping them along with learning new tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
