Description

SAIC is seeking an experienced AI Engineer to support one of our Intelligence customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in AI, data science, or software engineering. This funded role involves leveraging advanced analytical techniques and agentic data discovery methodologies to enhance the program's data exploitation capabilities and reduce reliance on manual data processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced analytical techniques and agentic data discovery methodologies to analyze disparate data sources across the Intelligence Community (IC) and other agencies.
  • Develop and implement AI/ML solutions to accelerate data aggregation and the identification of emerging threats to national security.
  • Enhance the program's capabilities to exploit large datasets and identify correlations and threat vectors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver AI solutions that meet program objectives.
  • Stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices to ensure the program remains at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to non-technical team members on AI/ML methodologies and best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation for AI/ML models, algorithms, and processes.

Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in AI, data science, or software engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge of advanced analytical techniques and agentic data discovery methodologies.
  • Proven experience with disparate data sources and integrating data from multiple agencies or sectors.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML models, algorithms, and tools.
  • Experience with programming languages and tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other AI/ML frameworks.
  • Familiarity with data processing platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and present findings.
  • Experience working within the Intelligence Community (IC) or other government agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:
    • Knowledge of national security threats and data exploitation strategies.
    • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
