Cyber Security Analyst
**Hybrid | Westlake, TX **
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to work on a 12-month + contract position working in Westlake, TX. This position is hybrid onsite two weeks a month and candidates must be local to the metro Dallas area.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $45 - $55 w-2
Responsibilities:
Provide assurance over cybersecurity and customer protection controls using established database of responses and internal expertise.
Respond to security-related inquiries from clients and prospective clients, including RFPs and questionnaires.
Collaborate with internal teams to address and document security concerns.
Support business development efforts by supplying timely and accurate cybersecurity information.
Participate in panel and manager interviews as part of the hiring process.
Experience Requirements:
3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, and/or technology risk.
Understanding of access control, network and web application security, insider threat, and related areas.
Professional security certification (Security+, CISSP, CISA) preferred.
Strong professional communication skills.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a technology-related field preferred.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
