Summary:

We are seeking a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with a specialization in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O for our client. This role is at the heart of a technology modernization initiative, requiring a blend of technical savvy and functional expertise in accounting and supply chain management. The ideal candidate will not only have a solid grasp of financial principles and supply chain processes but also possess the technical acumen to map business requirements to D365 F&O functionalities effectively. Experience with Dynamics 365 F&O is highly valued, as is the ability to navigate both the technical and business dimensions of system implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the bridge between the business units (accounting and supply chain) and IT, translating complex business needs into technical specifications for D365 F&O and ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.
  • Dive deep into business processes to understand, document, and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications for D365 F&O, leveraging your understanding of the platform's capabilities and limitations.
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, functional design workshops, and system testing, bringing a strong analytical mindset to solve business problems through technology.
  • Analyze and document system integration requirements, working closely with technical teams to ensure seamless connectivity between D365 F&O and other enterprise systems.
  • Develop and execute test plans, including System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate that solutions meet business needs and are technically sound.
  • Provide post-implementation support, identifying opportunities for system optimization and enhancements, and acting as a point of escalation for complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst, with a strong foundation in both the functional aspects of financial accounting and supply chain management and the technical intricacies of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with both non-technical stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including system configuration, data migration, and customizations.
  • Experience in the integration of D365 F&O with other systems like CRM, ERP, or SCM tools.
  • Professional certifications related to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Agile methodologies, or Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
  • Knowledge of SQL for data analysis and reporting purposes.
