Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
3+ years of embedded software testing experience in a regulated industry (medical devices, automotive, aerospace, etc.)
Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as Green Hills Integrity, QNX, or VxWorks
Strong knowledge of test methodologies (Agile, V-Model) and medical device standards (IEC 62304, FDA 21 CFR Part 820)
Proficiency in test case design, requirements tracing, and defect tracking tools (e.g., MicroFocus ALM, JIRA)
Ability to troubleshoot embedded systems and perform hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on patient safety
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience with automated testing frameworks for embedded systems
Knowledge of C/C++ for test script development
Familiarity with continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test protocols for embedded software on the PrisMax CRRT device (Green Hills Integrity OS)
Perform scripted, ad-hoc, and exploratory testing, documenting results in MicroFocus ALM
Conduct regression testing, defect analysis, and risk assessments in compliance with FDA/ISO 13485 standards
Investigate field-reported issues and work with developers to resolve critical defects
Collaborate with systems engineers, architects, and QA teams to improve testing strategies
Contribute to Agile (Scrum) processes, including sprint planning and test case reviews
