Senior Engineering Quality Leader

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS); Air Dominance (AD) has an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Senior Engineering Quality Leader (Level L) supporting Air Dominance Engineering in Berkeley, MO.
This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the Air Dominance Leadership Team and likely broader exposure to BDS Engineering, Operations, Quality, Affordability and Supplier Management Leadership. The leader will have the opportunity to develop, demonstrate, and hone project management skills, financial management skills, and opportunity identification/capture process.
This is a developmental role which could lead to additional opportunities within the AD Division team.
Position Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location, some level of telecommuting will be acceptable as agreed to with the manager.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires ship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Engineering and Cross-Functional (Supply Chain, Contracts, etc.) Leadership to identify and execute engineering projects that drive improvements and ensure compliance to processes for the AD division.
- Develop project plans, lead project engineers and analysts in implementation, metric development, and tracking.
- Interface with Engineering Leadership, Total Enterprise Quality, Operations, and Supply Chain as part of the AD Quad.
- Address AD Engineering associated customer issued Corrective Action Requests to include coordination of Corrective Action Plans, Implementation, and Verification.
- Engage with customer personnel to ensure flow-down and understanding of AD Engineering improvement initiatives.
- Ensure Engineering compliance to Command Media, SIPOCs, and Design Practices. Coordinate changes and create new media as needed.
- Partner with Ranken Technical College/Institutions and AD Engineering Capability Leaders on talent pipeline programs.
- Lead Engineering Corrective Action Board (ECAB) across AD portfolio (F-15, F/A-18, T-7A, MQ-25, MQ-28, & Phantom Works).
- Develop and present Engineering Quality Metrics for AD.
- Host Defense Contractor Management Agency (DCMA) St. Louis site forum to make progress with new and existing issues. Engage with customer personnel to ensure flow down and understanding of AD Engineering improvement initiatives.
- Support AD Workforce Team with recruiting events, external technical affiliation (ETA) events, and interviews.
- Facilitate enterprise root cause corrective action (eRCCA) events for the St. Louis site.
- Serve as site engineering purchased services focal
- Assist engineering workforce initiatives: St. Louis Engineering Staffing Surge Tiger Team
