Position: Network Engineer
Type: W2 Contract (No C2C)
We re seeking a talented and proactive Network Engineer to join our growing IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for someone experienced in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network systems while ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
- Monitor network performance, identify issues, and implement improvements
- Ensure network security and compliance with corporate policies
- Manage DNS, DHCP, and IP addressing schemes
- Work with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure projects
- Provide Tier 2/3 support for network-related incidents and requests
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and procedures
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.)
- Experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) is a plus
- Proficient in tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or related field
