Job Details

As a CI Design Engineer, you will support the Windrower Platform production line by performing basic product design, testing, and analysis work within a defined scope. You will operate in a team environment, contribute to design reviews, and develop solutions to enhance cost, quality, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design support and troubleshooting for the Windrower Platform production line.

  • Produce and/or evaluate potential design solutions based on engineering principles and company applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply management and supplier personnel.

  • Compile and provide necessary engineering data and decisions for prototype builds and design adoption.

  • Apply engineering principles to routine problems and determine specifications.

  • Execute test and analysis plans for product verification and validation.

  • Learn and apply company engineering policies, practices, and product knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

  • 1 3 years of engineering or technical experience in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.

  • Experience with Creo or similar CAD software.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in communication and teamwork.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.

Preferred Qualifications (What Makes You Stand Out):
  • Experience with product verification and validation processes.

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with SAP.

  • Experience with assembly line processes and documentation.

  • Knowledge of weld processes and documentation.

Additional Knowledge (Preferred):
  • Understanding of machine forms relevant to job assignment.

  • Familiarity with competitive products.

  • Knowledge of Enterprise Product Delivery Process (EPDP) and related development or acquisition processes.

  • Familiarity with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
