Cinematic Animator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cinematic Animator in Bellevue, WA.

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled animator to collaborate with partners in creating and implementing engaging and realistic in-game animations using both keyframe and motion capture techniques. The candidate must be an effective communicator with a passion for creating memorable characters and experiences.

Responsibilities:
* Create and implement high quality animations for in-game characters
* Work with Animation Leads, Production Teams, and Outsource Managers to identify pipeline needs and improve technical workflows
* Work closely with Co-Development and Outsourcing partners to maintain the standards of animation quality
* Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver incredible character performances

REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive work experience in the Game or Film industry
* Highly proficient with Maya - Experience with and proven ability in successfully creating, editing and implementing animation
* Strong understanding of the principles of animation and how best to adapt those to create believable characters and experiences
* The ability to understand the needs of gameplay animation from multiple perspectives; Animation quality, design requirements, and player experience and expectations
* Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
* Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to Haves:
* Having shipped at least one game or film
* MetaHuman and Unreal Control Rig experience
* Python or Mel scripting experience
* A passion for the Halo Universe

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
