SAP SuccessFactors ECP (Employee Central Payroll) Consultant
Duration: 4 Months+
Location: Remote
Expertise in Canadian/US Payroll, specifically Canada. Business process discussion to map future process
Map Customer data to available fields and sections within specific Project scope
Workshop to cover Role Based Permissions, Reporting and Administration specific to Payroll
Payroll Configuration Migration from Existing SAP HCM Payroll configuration
Claims Processing - o One (1) Claims process enabled utilizing standard wage types for clearing claims and setting up deductions to recover the overpayment.
Overpayment Recovery USA o One (1) Overpayment Recovery process enabled utilizing standard wage types for clearing claims and setting up deductions to recover the overpayment. o Define Threshold and Forgiveness Rules using Minimum Wage for States (Minimum wage rates to be provided by Customer). o Set up of wage type grouping for overpayments.
Savings/Benefits Plans - o Retirement plans (e.g. 401k) will be migrated from existing On-Prem configuration.
Other Benefits (e.g. health, dental, HSA, etc.) will be manually configured through infotype 14 Garnishments. o Garnishment and deduction functions for US and Canada are included in scope. o US Garnishments will be migrated from ECC. o Canadian Garnishments will be configured manually in ECP for the existing Canadian employees with garnishments. o Only Garnishment order types and rules included with the standard delivered SAP country versions are in scope for this project. Custom logic, extensions to standard logic, new rules, and other augmentations or enhancements are considered out of scope. o Garnishment notices, letters, and other communication mediums included are only those delivered with the standard SAP country versions. Any PI, basis, ABAP, or other technical work required to deliver these is the responsibility of the Customer.
Taxes - o Standard Tax functions for countries that are included in scope. o No custom Tax schemes or models are included in scope. Only SAP-delivered Tax schemes and models will be used. o Configuration of up to 50 states.
Payroll Posting - o Configuration of Payroll postings will be limited to set ups for symbolic accounts in ECP Employee Central Payroll. Customer will be responsible to complete configuration within FI system and for generation of posting documents, reports, and similar functions. o Setup to SAP symbolic accounts to facilitate transfer to Financials application of Customer s choice, including groupings by available employee demographics o Standard Month End Accrual using estimates or actuals.
Third Party Remittance - o Configuration of Payroll third party postings will be limited to set ups for HR Payees in EC Payroll. Customer will be responsible to complete configuration within FI system and for generation of posting documents, reports, and similar functions. o Configuration of remittance rules to support garnishments will be migrated and adjusted as needed based on SAP On-Prem system. o US configuration completed through ECC will be migrated. New configuration for Canada will be included as part of scope.
Payment Processing - o Assumes use of standard delivered pay statement/stub. o All payments are delivered in one standard format (such as ACH, CPA 005) for the in-scope countries. Additional payment methods will require change orders. o Assumes no Pre-Notification is needed. The addition of pre-notification would require a Change Order and additional time.
Tax reporting for country.
