Baer is looking for a Taulia Functional Consultant for a 6+ month remote project
Title: Taulia Functional Consultant
Location: Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: C2C
Description:

• Act as the primary functional SME (Subject Matter Expert) for the Taulia implementation project.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements for supplier invoicing, dynamic discounting, and early payment programs.
• Define and configure Taulia modules in alignment with SAP S/4HANA, particularly FI and MM.
• Participate in solution design workshops and create functional specifications for custom developments and integrations.
• Support system testing activities (SIT/UAT), user training, and change management initiatives.
• Coordinate supplier onboarding to the Taulia platform and provide functional support for supplier enablement.
• Assist in developing documentation for end-users and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement recommendations.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of SAP experience, with functional knowledge in FI, MM, or P2P processes.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Taulia implementations.
• In-depth understanding of invoicing, payment terms, supplier management, and discounting strategies.
• Strong analytical and process design skills, with the ability to translate business needs into system functionality.
• Experience collaborating across finance, procurement, and technical teams.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA environments and integration best practices.
• Experience in the telecommunications, utilities, or construction industries.
• Familiarity with supplier portals, e-invoicing, and supply chain finance workflows.
• Taulia or SAP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., SOX, internal audit controls) related to financial transactions.
• Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
