The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization-part of CE&S-drives customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by combining advanced AI-powered capabilities with deep human expertise. We deliver innovative solutions that accelerate business outcomes, strengthen operational excellence, and cultivate long-term customer loyalty.

We are seeking a strategic, executive-ready AI Strategy & Enablement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will shape how AI and Copilot technologies are adopted across large-scale programs, guiding efforts from early ideation and business case development through execution and enterprise-wide landing. You will serve as the critical connector between business, engineering, and executive stakeholders to ensure AI is not simply explored-but measured, championed, and successfully implemented.

The AI Strategy & Enablement Specialist conducts market-focused research by gathering and interpreting insights, identifying both existing business opportunities and emerging whitespace for Microsoft. They synthesize findings into actionable strategic recommendations, using strong executive presence to influence decisions and highlight forward-looking ideas often overlooked by others. This role communicates insights to senior leaders through compelling written narratives and influence models, while maintaining key internal partnerships. They contribute to large-scale strategy initiatives and independently lead smaller projects with director-level guidance. Additionally, they mentor junior team members, support executive communications on behalf of the Strategy function, and provide coordination for executive-level meetings.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate business value, synthesize complex concepts, and translate technical capabilities into meaningful outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling narratives and deliver concise, high-impact briefings for senior leaders.
  • Proven capability in building and managing strategic business relationships, fostering collaboration, and influencing across organizational boundaries.
  • Solid understanding of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic recommendations and business decisions.
  • Strong analytical and innovative problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions, identify creative solutions, and drive clarity in ambiguous environments.
  • We are seeking an AI Specialist with hands-on experience in developing intelligent agents for automation and decision-making.

Business Strategy IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
