***Only qualified Application Architect (Intermediate) candidates located near the commutable Tallahassee, FL area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Required Education:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and ten (10) years of experience in computer systems analysis and/or computer programming; or
Preferred Certification:
Microsoft Certified Solutions or Professional Developer or similar.
Application Architect (Intermediate) Minimum Required Skills:
Ten (10) years of successful system development, maintenance, support and implementation/integration experience using Visual Studio .Net, C# and SQL Server in application development projects.
Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of computer programming and systems design.
Knowledge of computer flowcharting techniques.
Knowledge of mathematics.
Knowledge of computer operations, procedures and systems.
Knowledge of computer programming languages.
Ability to process information logically.
Ability to design programs and systems logic.
Ability to analyze and interpret computer program data.
Ability to identify and define user task needs.
Ability to prepare program specifications.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
Preferred Skill:
Florida Financial Systems, HR and Administration Systems; Experience with APD systems to include: CDC+, NG-QSI, FRS, Resource Directory, HRTS.
The Application Architect (Intermediate) will be responsible for the following:
Defines, develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.
Assists in the definition, development, and documentation of the business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications needed to develop software programs and applications.
Writes, translates, and codes software programs and applications according to required specifications.
Writes programming scripts necessary to enhance functionality and/or performance of existing APD applications as necessary.
Designs, runs, and monitors software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
Liaise with network administrators, database administrators, system analysts, and business owners to assist in resolving problems with applications and programs.
Provides maintenance and support to existing APD business applications.
