Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to manage and optimize IT systems, networks, and applications to ensure seamless operation and security. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with system monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance, along with a proactive approach to improving organizational IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Monitor networks to ensure system security, data integrity, and accessibility for authorized users.
Manage user authentication and authorization processes using tools such as Active Directory.
Analyze system and network performance metrics, including capacity, efficiency, and utilization, to identify areas for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across all IT-supported systems.
Install, configure, and maintain applications, application suites, and frameworks to meet organizational needs.
Set up, deploy, and support local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), as well as Internet and intranet systems.
Perform critical system backups and facilitate secure transfer of backup data to offsite storage locations.
Stay current on updates and advancements in hardware and software systems, offering recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Provide emergency after-hours support when required.
Requirements
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Windows 10 systems.
Hands-on experience with Dell and Citrix technologies.
Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, or VB.
Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
Knowledge of system design and configuration, including virtualization, cloud storage, and mobile device integration.
Technical certifications from organizations like Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, Dell, or Citrix are highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic IT environment.
