RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Node Developer in Charlotte, NC.
Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Developer to create and maintain Node.js libraries and packages that power our frontend ecosystem. In this role, you will develop robust, well-tested utilities and frameworks that other developers will use. Your work will include API design, documentation, and ensuring backward compatibility as libraries evolve.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 4+ years of experience with Node.js development
* Experience building and publishing reusable packages
* Experience with CI/CD pipeline configuration
* Knowledge of semantic versioning principles
* Expertise in unit testing and test-driven development
* Expert-level TypeScript knowledge
* Strong API and library design expertise
* Proficiency with package management (npm/yarn)
* Security best practices for Node.js applications
* Performance optimization techniques
* Strong documentation skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
