Role: IBM Datacap Developer
Location - Remote
Duration: 9-12 months plus
Salary - $100,000 - $12,000 per year on w2
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IBM Datacap Developer with strong Content Navigator customization skills to join our document capture and enterprise content management team. This role requires expertise in IBM Datacap, Content Navigator and Content Platform Engine, along with proficiency in C#, Java programming languages, and SQL Server database integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Develop and customize IBM Datacap applications to automate document capture and data extraction processes.
Configure Datacap workflows, rulesets, and actions to meet specific business needs.
Develop custom scripts and modules using languages such as C#, VB.NET, and JavaScript.
Integration:
Integrate Datacap solutions with enterprise content management systems like IBM FileNet Content Manager.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems and applications.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Datacap development and customization.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, VB.NET, and JavaScript.
Strong understanding of document capture workflows and image processing concepts.
Experience with enterprise content management systems, particularly IBM FileNet.
Familiarity with OCR technologies and data extraction methodologies.
Experience with SQL Server and writing complex stored procedures.
Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
IBM certifications related to Datacap or FileNet platforms.
Experience with cloud-based document capture solutions and services.
Knowledge of additional ECM platforms and integration techniques.
Background in optical character recognition (OCR) technologies.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
