Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SCCM/ECM System Administrator to join our Technical Systems and Networking team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SCCM/ECM (on-premises) and be skilled in managing the complete workstation lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on patch/update deployments and software distribution. This role also requires the ability to identify challenges within SCCM/ECM environments and recommend effective solutions, such as configuration updates, topology improvements, and integration of complementary tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain SCCM/ECM (on-prem) environments.
  • Manage workstation lifecycle from an SCCM perspective, with a heavy focus on patching, update deployments, and software distribution.
  • Identify gaps and challenges within SCCM/ECM environments and propose improvements.
  • Implement configuration updates, topology modifications, and tool integrations to enhance system performance.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of enterprise infrastructure.
  • Support Microsoft Server OS and related services in an enterprise environment.

Technical Environment

Experience with the following is required or highly preferred:

  • Microsoft Server OS, IIS, DNS, DHCP, PowerShell scripting.
  • Windows Server Update Service (SCCM), Active Directory, PKI, Identity and Access Management.
  • VMware vSphere Infrastructure, Pure Flash Array, Citrix XenApp and NetScaler.
  • Red Hat and Oracle Linux, SAN administration.
  • Microsoft 365 Services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Ansible.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of professional experience in SCCM/ECM system administration.
  • Proven track record of patch/update deployments and software distribution in enterprise environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with SCCM/ECM.
  • Ability to recommend and implement improvements to system configurations and architecture.
  • Experience working with large-scale enterprise IT environments.
