Role: 3D/AR/VR Engineer

Location: Los Altos, CA



Duration: 4-month contract to start, potential to extend or hire to FTE

MUST HAVES:

Core Technical Skills

  1. 3D Graphics & Rendering
    • Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, and animation.
    • Familiarity with real-time rendering pipelines and optimization.
  2. AR/VR Development
    • Experience building AR/VR applications for devices like HoloLens, Oculus, Meta Quest, or similar.
    • Knowledge of spatial computing, immersive interaction, and motion tracking.
  3. Game/Graphics Engines
    • Proficiency with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar engines for real-time interactive experiences.
    • Understanding of engine workflows and scripting (C#, C++, Blueprints).
  4. Programming & Software Development
    • Strong coding skills in C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
    • Knowledge of 3D graphics APIs (OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan) is a plus.
  5. Simulation & Physics
    • Experience with physics simulations, collision detection, and VR interaction mechanics.
    • Optional: haptics, motion capture, or robotics integration experience.
