Job Title: Business Analyst 2 Applications/Software Development

< data-start="225" data-end="260">I. Description of Services</>

The client is seeking the services of one Business Analyst 2 who meets the general qualifications for Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined below.

All work products resulting from the project will be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the client. The role may require candidates to pass criminal background checks as permitted by applicable law. The client will not pay any fees for interviews or discussions conducted during the candidate selection process.

This Business Analyst (BA) position supports multiple projects that align with the client s mission to improve outcomes. It involves advanced, senior-level business analysis work and serves as the liaison between the customer/program area and the software development team.

The BA may be assigned to more than one project or to special projects at any time. They will be involved throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), from gathering requirements to managing and verifying them post-implementation, including enhancements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 12 years of experience deriving requirements from customer interviews and creating system requirements documents

  • 10 years of experience in system analysis and design, including mockups and/or wireframes

  • 10 years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • 10 years of experience with business process reengineering

  • 6 years of experience developing user stories and use cases

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of strong communication, organization, and facilitation skills

  • 2 years of experience in business process development

  • 2 years of experience using Azure DevOps or Modern Requirements

  • 1 year of experience with Atlassian Jira

  • 1 year of prior experience or familiarity with client-specific applications and programs

  • 1 year of prior employment in a public school distric
