RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote AEM Content Author.
Summary:
The client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically savvy AEM Content Author to join as a vendor supporting our internal brand platform. As a content author, you will work within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to create, update, and manage content across the site-ensuring alignment with brand standards, accessibility guidelines, and user needs. This is a fast-paced, collaborative role ideal for someone who thrives in enterprise environments, loves getting into the details of CMS systems, and has a keen eye for content quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as primary author within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
* Create, update, and publish pages and assets using AEM templates and components
* Assist in gathering requirements and assessing content authoring needs of requests
* Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure content accuracy and strategic alignment
* Utilize AEM tools and features to author, manage, and update web pages, manage digital assets, and multimedia content
* Perform quality control checks (content audits) on authored content and troubleshoot any issues to keep information current and maintain a seamless user experience
* Conduct quality assurance checks and resolve formatting or layout issues within authored content; Inform our Dev QA and development team of any code-related issues
* Support content migration and ongoing improvements to the site structure
* Help define and uphold publishing standards and best practices
* Train content owners on publishing standards
REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven hands-on experience with and deep knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), including Assets/digital asset management, Page Templates, permissions, components and dialogs, imagery, motion, content fragments, experience fragments, and other functionality as required
* Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and ability to perform accessibility checks; Understanding of content strategy and publishing workflows, including content versioning and workflow management
* Basic knowledge of web design/development (HTML/CSS) to easily communicate with the development team
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, including writing, editing and proofreading skills
* Ability to think strategically and problem-solve
* Experience working with style guides and brand voice
* Natural aptitude for building relationships across the team, partner agencies and the company
* A collaborative, self-motivated, "always-learning" attitude
* Experience using project management tools (i.e., Workfront, Jira, Azure DevOps)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of UI/UX design principles
* Experience enterprise component-based authoring systems and brand governance
* Experience with information architecture and interactive design
* Familiarity with QA processes and tools for web content validation across different browsers, breakpoints and modalities
* Strong ability to perform core project management documentation, business requirements documentation, cross-departmental author training, and authoring status reports
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
