Job Opportunity: Associate Principal Structural Engineering
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Relocation available for the right candidate)

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Education: Master s Degree in Structural Engineering (U.S. university only)

  • License: SE License Required

  • Experience: Minimum 12+ years in building design

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Extensive knowledge of Type I construction (steel & concrete structures)

    • Design & detail large, complex structural systems across multiple sectors

    • Proven leadership of engineering & BIM design teams

    • Strong background in seismic evaluation & retrofit design (ASCE 41 is a plus)

    • Experience with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus


Leadership & Business Development

  • Recognized industry leader with established client relationships

Role Overview

As an Associate Principal, you will:

  • Lead large-scale structural engineering projects from concept to completion

  • Build & maintain strong client relationships

  • Oversee project teams (engineers + BIM designers)

  • Provide technical leadership in Type I construction systems

  • Contribute to business development & strategic growth

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors & consultants for cost-effective, innovative solutions
