Description
We are looking for a skilled Software Developer to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of production support software applications used in a manufacturing environment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in .NET technologies and SQL while collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Windows Forms, .NET, and Windows Services applications to support manufacturing processes.
Create and optimize SQL stored procedures to enhance application performance and functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to ensure seamless operation of production support applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement effective solutions.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and efficiency.
Document application changes, updates, and processes to maintain clear records.
Provide technical support and guidance to users within the manufacturing environment.
Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software solutions.
Assist in system management tasks for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne within the manufacturing environment.
Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards throughout development processes.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience developing applications using C# and .NET technologies, including Windows Forms, ASP.NET, and Windows Services.
Proven experience with SQL, specifically creating and managing stored procedures.
Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and the specific software needs of the industry.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage projects effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne system management is a plus.
Experience with Oracle Agile and programming languages such as JavaScript is desirable.
