World Wide Technology is looking for a Project Manager. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. The partner will provide full compensation and benefit information prior to employment with the partner.

Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $33.00 to $43.00 hourly (W2/C2C). Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
Job Description:
World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a Project Manager for a 3 Months contract position at the location Denver, CO, as part of our Strategic Resourcing Services and staff augmentation efforts.
In this role, the selected consultant will work directly with a WWT client, supporting their internal team and business objectives. While WWT facilitates the position, the consultant will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partner organizations, which will provide complete details regarding compensation and benefits before employment.
Job Summary:
This role supports Clients Network Engineering and Operations team, which builds and operates the core and backbone networks that provide data, voice and video services to millions of customers across the US. The PMs primarily assist with network related projects, like technology upgrades, capacity augments, and migrations. All the standard PM functions - budget, reporting, communication with stakeholders, project schedule. Need to coordinate with various internal and external resources, like installers, vendor contractors, logistics, etc.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years experience
- Plans, manages, and monitors projects from concept through implementation for projects.
- Increased functional understanding of project management techniques such as Waterfall or Agile
- Manages day-to-day operational aspects of all assigned projects and gains consensus from stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
- Establishes project management processes and methodologies to ensure assigned-projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet high quality standards and Leadership expectations using the appropriate tools.
- Meets with internal customers of an assigned project to provide status updates and reports and gather project-related feedback:
- Strong understanding of multiple project management disciplines with the ability to select the appropriate discipline for each project.
- Responsible for handling $ 10 small or 2-3 medium sized projects simultaneously.
- Tracks costs, and performance, service levels and other metrics required to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Ability to prefer effectively in a fast-paced environment
