Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Electrical or Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer with extensive experience in nuclear power and large capital projects. This role involves leading and executing complex engineering assignments that span multiple contracts, disciplines, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong project management capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of nuclear facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and perform advanced engineering tasks in support of nuclear plant operations and capital projects.
  • Develop and implement design modifications, including new systems, upgrades, and replacements of obsolete equipment, with a focus on electrical and I&C systems.
  • Manage engineering deliverables across large-scale projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, configuration management, and project timelines.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project execution.
  • Apply industry codes, standards, and best practices to prepare technical specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering technical growth and adherence to nuclear engineering principles and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, I&C Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience, with at least 6 years in nuclear power plant design and operations.
  • Proven experience managing engineering scopes within large capital projects involving multiple stakeholders and contracts.
  • Strong understanding of the nuclear design change process and configuration management.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
