Job Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Staff-level Java Services Engineer with deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems, particularly in the domain of Sales Platforms and Sales Transaction Services. The ideal candidate will have 11 12 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development and enterprise-grade service architecture, with a strong track record of working in complex transaction-based systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services for sales and transaction platforms.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture.
Lead complex projects and mentor junior engineers across the full software development lifecycle.
Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of transaction workflows.
Ensure system compliance with industry standards for security, auditing, and data consistency.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
11 12 years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services.
Strong understanding of sales platforms, transaction processing, and order lifecycle management.
Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and DevOps tools.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and leadership qualities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in e-commerce, B2B sales systems, or ERP-integrated platforms.
Familiarity with Kafka, messaging queues, or event-driven architecture.
Knowledge of GraphQL, API gateways, and reactive programming is a plus.
