Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Staff-level Java Services Engineer with deep expertise in building scalable, high-performance backend systems, particularly in the domain of Sales Platforms and Sales Transaction Services. The ideal candidate will have 11 12 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development and enterprise-grade service architecture, with a strong track record of working in complex transaction-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services for sales and transaction platforms.

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and architecture.

  • Lead complex projects and mentor junior engineers across the full software development lifecycle.

  • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of transaction workflows.

  • Ensure system compliance with industry standards for security, auditing, and data consistency.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.

  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical design discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 11 12 years of experience in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services.

  • Strong understanding of sales platforms, transaction processing, and order lifecycle management.

  • Experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration patterns.

  • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance tuning.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, test automation frameworks, and DevOps tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership qualities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in e-commerce, B2B sales systems, or ERP-integrated platforms.

  • Familiarity with Kafka, messaging queues, or event-driven architecture.

  • Knowledge of GraphQL, API gateways, and reactive programming is a plus.
