Job Details

Job Title: Salesforce Release Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop solutions using the Salesforce platform

Build and present custom demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (POC)

Ensure technical design aligns with enterprise architecture

Author technical business solutions, product presentations, and demonstrations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain a solution-focused mindset

Adhere to DevOps and change management processes; attend daily scrum meetings

Document processes, errors, and changes

Evaluate and install new Salesforce releases, providing training and support

Maintain Service Cloud, including case management and omni-channel configuration

Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, advanced flows, and groups

Develop automation with Advanced Flow, Screen flows, Auto-launched Flows, and Omni-Channel Flows

Optimize Salesforce systems and products

Perform database maintenance tasks and diagnostic tests

Participate in workforce planning under the guidance of the AccelerEd team

Work a routine eight-hour schedule within AccelerEd s business hours (8:00 am 6:00 pm ET)

Engage in 15-day sprints 2 days for planning/retrospective and 13 days to complete tasks

Achieve 2 story points per developer per day during sprints to track progress

Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)

3 5 years experience in Salesforce release management, ideally across multiple orgs

3 5 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Developer

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline management (Copado or similar tools)

Experience with Salesforce deployments (change sets, ANT migration tool, Salesforce DX)

Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies (sprints, scrums, backlog management)

Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality

Required Qualifications:

Salesforce Certified Administrator

Copado Fundamentals I certification (Fundamentals II preferred)

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Platform App Builder or Developer certification

Experience with project management tools (Jira, Trello, ADO)

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills during release cycles
