Job Details
A Cybersecurity Analyst opportunity that plays a vital role in infrastructure and service delivery. We re looking for someone with hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations who can monitor and respond to threats, manage incident response, and help develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
This is a contract to hire role-office schedule position based in Irvine CA. Ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitoring for and responding to cybersecurity threats
- Managing incident response and remediation efforts
- Applying patches, identifying system vulnerabilities
- Ensuring compliance with NIST CSF or ISO 27001
- Leading awareness training and supporting disaster recovery planning
- Collaborating with teams and external cybersecurity agencies (FBI, DHS, etc.)
Key Technologies & Tools:
- Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure
- Windows/Linux servers
- Cisco networking, Checkpoint firewall software
- SIEM solutions, security compliance tools
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in cybersecurity/IT, including experience with complex systems
- Solid knowledge of cloud, wireless, and network security
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks
- Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISA, GCIH) are a plus
- Good Communication skills
