  • Lead the design and rollout of SRE tooling, including monitoring, alerting, and incident response automation for high-risk transactional systems.
  • Drive adoption of DevOps and SRE principles across the team, mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure high availability, resilience, and security of fraud detection services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, applying deep technical expertise to swiftly diagnose and mitigate production issues, ensuring high availability and minimal disruption to customer support experiences.
  • Champion operational excellence by identifying and eliminating toil, automating repetitive tasks, and improving system observability.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of internal standards and best practices for deployment, change management, reliability, and security.

What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership or staff/principal capacity.
  • Deep expertise in cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or AWS), Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Strong understanding of Linux internals, enabling quick troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Go, Bash, or similar).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), configuration management (e.g., Ansible, Terraform), and observability stacks (Openobserve, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Familiarity with security concepts and best practices.
  • Proven track record of designing and operating highly available, scalable, and secure distributed systems-ideally in transactional or fraud prevention environments.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with real-time data processing, or high-throughput transactional platforms.
  • Experience with AI agents, MCP, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with Spanner and/or Cassandra.
  • Contributions to open-source DevOps/SRE tools or communities.
