Job Title : QA Program Manager
Location: : St. Louis, MO, all 5 days from client office
Duration : Long Term Contract
Job Overview:
- Delivery Oversight: Own delivery of mobile software testing projects, ensuring high-quality execution and on-time completion in alignment with project plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Business, Product Owners, Development Leads, and Project Managers to define testing requirements, resolve blockers, and determine risk-based approach to delivery aligned with business needs.
- Leadership Communication: Prepare and present status updates, risk assessments, and delivery insights to VP-level and executive leadership with clarity and confidence. Act as a quality advocate, engaging with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive a mature and scalable testing project.
- Cross-Team Coordination: Lead and mentor geographically dispersed QE teams, ensuring clarity of goals, priorities, and timelines, as well as, seeking shift left opportunities to ensure early test involvement.
- Resource Planning: Forecast and manage resource allocations, balancing workloads and optimizing team productivity. Assist with development of accurate test estimation to support Agile sprint planning.
- Quality Assurance & Governance: Oversee test planning, execution, and processes across functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure mobile applications meet the defined quality standards, key performance indicators, and desired outcomes/goals.
- Continuous Improvement & Thought Leadership: Identify process gaps and drive initiatives for operational efficiency, automation opportunities, and testing best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in QE software testing, with 3+ years in a delivery or program management role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex testing projects and multiple timelines in parallel.
- Proven experience presenting to and influencing VP-level stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the telecommunications industry with OSS/BSS.
- Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Octane, etc), Tosca and CI/CD pipelines.
- PMP, CSM, or ISTQB certification is a plus
