Job Details
OP is looking for a seasoned Program Manager to help support the Messaging Product Team of a global social media company. This Senior Program Manager will help drive horizontal program operations across the Messaging sub-pillar, be on point for specific usability projects and data management projects that help our billions of daily Messaging users.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate horizontal work streams across team to improve the efficiency of the sub-pillar and enable better stakeholder management
- Coordinate usability and data management projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical and design solutions
- Confer with product, engineers, designers, and marketing to discuss and align on project specifications and procedures.
Required Skillset:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Strong knowledge of product development processes and execution to maximize the efficiency of the team and visibility to stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Strong knowledge of computer software, such as Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
