Job Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Java, Python, and modern DevOps practices to lead the design and integration of cloud-native solutions across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of AWS services, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure as code, with a proven ability to guide mission-critical application delivery using event-driven and serverless architectures.

Candidates need to have:

4+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale AWS-based enterprise solutions.

Deep hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ECS, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, Route53, Systems Manager, and Config.

Experience building infrastructure as code using CloudFormation, SAM, or Ansible.

Proficiency in scripting and working with APIs (REST, JSON, Bash).

Experience with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline).

Experience with event-driven architectures, serverless computing, and data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Developer Associate, or Solutions Architect Professional).

.Experience designing cloud-native microservices and modern distributed systems.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide technical leadership in the design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications and integrations within AWS.

Define and implement architectural standards, reusable frameworks, and patterns for efficient AWS adoption.

Lead automation of AWS integration tasks using CloudFormation, Ansible, or SAM.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Maven, or AWS CodePipeline.

Build and maintain tooling to enable secure, scalable, and reliable use of AWS services across development teams.

Ensure Security-by-Design and compliance standards are embedded in all cloud-based applications.

Leverage monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config to enforce observability.

Support cost optimization and utilization visibility via reporting and usage dashboards.

Mentor developers and engineers on cloud integration best practices, DevOps, and microservices design.

Partner cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, and Infrastructure teams to deliver resilient, cloud-based solutions.
