Position: SAP S/4HANA EHS Developer REACH & EPA Integration Expert
Location: Onsite Lake Charles, Louisiana

Role Summary
We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Developer with strong regulatory integration experience to support a chemical manufacturing facility with EPA, OSHA, and REACH compliance automation using custom development in SAP EHS and Product Compliance (SAP PC).
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop custom ABAP objects in the SAP EHS module for SDS (Safety Data Sheets), substance volume tracking, and hazard label generation.
Implement REACH volume-tracking workflows and EPA TSCA reporting interfaces using SAP Fiori and Adobe Forms.
Configure and extend Dangerous Goods Management (DGM) and Product Safety (PS) components using user exits and BAdIs.
Integrate EHS workflows with external databases (e.g., IUCLID, ePIC, EPA CDX) using RFC, OData, and REST APIs.
Customize Fiori apps for chemical registration, exposure scenario tracking, and compliance monitoring dashboards.
Enhance SAP Product Compliance (PC) for material classification, legal control checks, and compliance status.
Build interface logic to sync SAP EHS with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and SAP EHSM Incident Management.
Author technical documentation: Functional Specs, Test Protocols, Risk Assessments, and Change Management forms per GxP and OSHA requirements.
Technical Skillset
Languages: ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS Views, Fiori Elements, Adobe Forms
Tools: SAP Fiori, BRF+, SAP EHSM, SAP Product Compliance, SAP PI/PO, SAP GRC
Integration: OData, IDoc, BAPI, REST APIs (for EPA/CDX), FTP/SFTP
Compliance & Domain Knowledge: OSHA HAZCOM, REACH, TSCA, GHS, EU CLP
Other: TWIC access protocols, GAMP 5 documentation, and chemical safety regulations knowledge
Strict Qualifications
Minimum 12+ years of SAP development, with at least 6 years in SAP EHS and 4+ years on S/4HANA EHS & Product Compliance.
Must have completed 3+ full-cycle EHS implementations in a U.S.-based chemical or petrochemical plant.
Prior on-premise deployment with EPA/CDX submission and OSHA incident automation is mandatory.
