Join our Centralized Systems Control (CSC) team to design and develop the next generation of control software for Computed Tomography (CT) medical imaging systems. In this role, you'll play a key part in shaping innovative technology that powers life-saving diagnostic imaging worldwide.

The pay range for this position in (Cleveland, OH) is $112,500 to $180,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. Job Description
Senior Software Development Engineer - CT Systems Control (Cleveland, OH)

Your role:
- Design, code, and integrate control software for next-generation CT scanners, ensuring high reliability, safety, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional global teams to define requirements, enhance software-hardware interfaces, and drive architectural improvements.
- Support test automation and telemetry analytics to ensure system quality and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to system architecture decisions, innovation projects, and intellectual property development.
- Stay current on software technologies and apply them to advance state-of-the-art imaging solutions.
You're the right fit if:
- You have 5+ years of software development experience in C++ and ideally .NET/C#, with a strong background in object-oriented design.
- You have a degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You bring expertise in statistics, machine learning, and data analysis, and are enthusiastic about coding, collaborative by nature, and skilled at communicating with global teams to share ideas and solutions.
- You have experience in real-time or embedded software development (preferred), test-driven or behavior-driven development, hardware communication, and familiarity with EtherCAT or CANopen protocols (preferred).
- You bring experience in medical imaging or other regulated industries is a plus.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
