RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Test Architect in support of our enterprise telecommunications and mass media client based in Greenwood Village, CO.

Summary:
As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, the Test Architect will be responsible for leading test design, developing strategies, and overseeing various testing efforts to ensure the quality and performance of our systems. This role requires hands-on leadership, UI testing expertise, SQL testing, and the ability to identify gaps in existing processes. The Test Architect will help design test strategies, create comprehensive test documentation, and occasionally perform manual testing tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with architect-level experience who is passionate about improving quality across software projects.

Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and execution of test strategies for UI and backend testing, ensuring high-quality delivery of applications
* Conduct UI testing, ensuring that all features are thoroughly tested across multiple platforms
* Perform SQL-based testing to validate backend data and ensure proper integration with frontend applications
* Act as a hands-on Test Lead, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement testing frameworks, tools, and best practices
* Identify test gaps, help improve test coverage, and ensure that best practices are consistently followed
* Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports
* Participate in grooming sessions to define and refine testing requirements
* Conduct manual testing as needed, particularly for critical areas of the system
* Ensure proper defect tracking and resolution using tools like JIRA and Confluence
* Assist with project management tasks, helping to coordinate test activities across the development cycle

REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive experience with manual testing and strong hands-on expertise in UI testing
* Proven ability to architect and implement test strategies for large-scale applications
* Expertise in working with RESTful services and Postman for API testing
* Solid experience using JIRA and Confluence for test management and documentation
* Basic SQL knowledge for validating backend data and testing database integrations
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders
* Some project management experience, including task prioritization and coordination of testing efforts

Nice-to-Have Skills:
* Experience with Oracle databases
* Familiarity with Splunk for log analysis and debugging
* Experience with MongoDB for working with NoSQL databases

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
