RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Engineer in Westlake Village, CA.
Summary:
The Application Developer utilizes minimum requirements to develop technology solutions for the Mortgage Servicing platform using a cloud solution and Microsoft technologies, utilizing services from our cloud service provider. The candidate will write high quality code to create complex business applications; test software during development; perform quality assurance and user acceptance testing; prepare software for deployment; provide post implementation support; and prepare application documentation.
The Application Developer will:
* Use the latest tools and techniques (.NET, .NET Core, C#, Agile Methodologies, Web Services, SQL, SSIS)
* Prepare software for deployment to production environments
* Respond to and resolve questions and issues logged by users of a live system
* Manage small projects independently and work as a team member on larger projects
* Perform other related duties as required and assigned
* Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop using .NET, .NET Core, C#, SQL, SSIS, and web services
* Front-end development with JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* Work in Agile environments (XP, Scrum)
* Deploy to production and support live systems
* Collaborate on small and large projects
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
* Up to 7 years of relevant work experience
* Knowledge of Agile Methodologies, such as Extreme Programming (XP) and Scrum is helpful
* Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
* In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, functional programming, and front-end languages
* .NET/.NET Core/C#
* Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing
* Strong debugging and deployment experience
* Experience with Linux and open source software is a plus
* AWS Environment - EC2, SQS, SNS, Lambda, Containers, API Gateway experience highly preferred
* Financial services experience, especially related to mortgages and mortgage backed securities, is desirable
* AI Co-pilot or equivalent AI coding experience is a plus
Interview Process:

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
