Job Details

Business Initiative/Purpose: New team; Metric Governance

Project: Cyber Core Metric Governance Program

Bachelor Degree:

  • Preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Facilitation of critical meetings to drive metric creation, metric remediation, and determine the level of escalation when gaps/challenges are identified (executive level vs LOB level)
  • Gather Metric Business Requirements (blue in attached) this can take multiple iterations before passing it to Data Requirements. Clearly defines metric definitions/scope, rationale, and thresholds
  • Engaging with teams that are responsible for adherence/monitoring for policies/procedures, cyber risk engine, standards, and controls to ensure alignment with current key/core metrics
  • Gain knowledge of usage of Power BI to be able to quickly create executive level reporting
  • Central contact for 1st and 2nd line risk partners (Risk Management Program, Cyber Risk Advisors, 2nd Line Risk Advisors)
  • Ensure executive level root cause commentary is gathered for key/core metrics that are out of tolerance by SLA. Represent Metric Owners during certain executive forums based on prior insights provided
  • Facilitation of Go to Green sessions with capability SMEs and/or Infosec Data Insights
  • Capturing action items and track down follow ups (as applicable) during executive leadership metric forums.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences:

  • Bachelor s degree and five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the professional discipline (e.g., information technology, project management, finance, risk management, etc.)
  • Effective verbal and written communication, sufficient to provide information to others.
  • Understands foundational concepts of other related professional disciplines. Experience managing small projects
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.

PlNice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences:

  • Knowledge on Information Cyber Security Frameworks (e.g. NIST CRI, FFIEC CAT, MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Financial services or specialized industry experience.
  • Knowledge of FFIEC IT Examiner's handbook for cyber security
  • Experience with ServiceNow.
