Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security professional with 8+ years in cybersecurity and infrastructure security operations, including hands-on expertise in firewalls, VPNs, security policy design, and the management of high-performing security teams. This role is suited for a dynamic leader with a make it happen mindset, strong stakeholder communication skills, and a track record of securing enterprise-grade environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of security professionals in delivering managed IT security services
• Oversee firewall operations, policy design, configuration management, and security operations using platforms like Checkpoint, Fortinet, Zscaler, and Ivanti
• Configure and manage multi-domain security architectures, including Site-to-Site and Remote VPN solutions
• Act as a Tier 3 escalation point for advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and change requests
• Drive operational excellence through documentation, process standardization, and training development
• Analyze, recommend, and implement new security technologies to enhance threat defense posture
• Perform and supervise penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance testing
• Maintain technical documentation and customer communication logs for audits and operational visibility
• Ensure compliance with security standards such as ISO 27002, FERPA, and internal governance
• Actively contribute to risk analysis, security education, and enterprise security awareness
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams on problem and change management workflows
