Description
SAIC is seeking a SharePoint Developer responsible for designing, developing and deploying custom SharePoint Online solutions using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform to support evolving business processes and digital transformation initiatives. This role emphasizes modernization, automation and collaboration across teams to streamline agency workflows.
Job Responsibilities :
Design and develop SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, CSOM, REST API and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate).
Implement and maintain SharePoint portals, sites, workflows and libraries tailored to USCIS business processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Ensure security and compliance with federal standards, including access controls and data integrity.
Troubleshoot and debug SharePoint-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field (4 years experience in lieu of degree_)
2+ years of experience in SharePoint and Power Platform development
Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.
SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 development expertise
Power Platform expertise (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Front-end technologies expertise (e.g., JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Angular)
Back-end and integration services expertise (e.g., .NET, C#, SQL Server, RESTful)
Version control and DevOps expertise (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
Desired:
Experience working in federal government environments, especially with ship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Working knowledge of Databricks or a similar platform (e.g., Snowflake)
Experience creating visualizations using Power BI or similar tools
Familiar with work environments that use Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Familiarity with Azure cloud services and/or Microsoft 365 governance
