Job Details

Title: .NET System Software Programmer - Project Lead

Location: Columbia, SC - Hybrid - (3 days onsite, 2 days remote),

Required exp: 10+ years

Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual

Payrate: DOE

Note: Need only locals from Columbia, SC with local Id.

Required Skills (in order of importance):

  • 10+ years: Designing & implementing medium to large-scale systems using.NET architectures
  • 8+ years: Developing data-driven applications using relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server)
  • 8+ years: Designing scalable Windows/web-based systems using N-tier architecture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft server OS, application/database/messaging/web servers
  • Proven history of successful component/subsystem implementation
  • Excellent communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences)
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with state IT staff and stakeholders

Technical Environment & Tools:

  • Languages & Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, MVC (3+), Entity Framework 6
  • Databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2019
  • Tools: Visual Studio (2012/2017/2019), Team Foundation Server (TFS), SSRS
  • Architecture: N-tier, secure web portals, data-driven applications

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior experience with Child Welfare or Human Services systems
  • Knowledge of SACWIS/CCWIS requirements and objectives
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum practices
  • Strong project ownership and self-starting abilities
  • Minimal need for supervision/management
