Job Details
Title: .NET System Software Programmer - Project Lead
Location: Columbia, SC - Hybrid - (3 days onsite, 2 days remote),
Required exp: 10+ years
Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual
Payrate: DOE
Note: Need only locals from Columbia, SC with local Id.
Required Skills (in order of importance):
- 10+ years: Designing & implementing medium to large-scale systems using.NET architectures
- 8+ years: Developing data-driven applications using relational databases (e.g., MS SQL Server)
- 8+ years: Designing scalable Windows/web-based systems using N-tier architecture
- Proficiency with Microsoft server OS, application/database/messaging/web servers
- Proven history of successful component/subsystem implementation
- Excellent communication skills (technical & non-technical audiences)
- Ability to effectively collaborate with state IT staff and stakeholders
Technical Environment & Tools:
- Languages & Frameworks: C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, MVC (3+), Entity Framework 6
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Tools: Visual Studio (2012/2017/2019), Team Foundation Server (TFS), SSRS
- Architecture: N-tier, secure web portals, data-driven applications
Preferred Skills:
- Prior experience with Child Welfare or Human Services systems
- Knowledge of SACWIS/CCWIS requirements and objectives
- Experience with Agile methodologies and scrum practices
- Strong project ownership and self-starting abilities
- Minimal need for supervision/management
