Job Title: Junior Project Manager Networking Deployments
Location: Remote - Canada
Duration/Term: Long Term Contract
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience Required: 2+ years in project management with a focus on technology or networking deployments
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certifications Preferred: Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM), ITIL, or networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or project management, ideally in a tech or IT infrastructure setting.
- Technical background in networking, IT infrastructure, or systems administration (academic or hands-on).
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts (IP, VLANs, switches, routers, firewalls).
- Exposure to project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, or Trello.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Team player with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn and grow.
Job Summary:
- We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager with a strong foundation in technology and hands-on experience in networking deployments. In this role, you will support the delivery of network infrastructure projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure project goals are met on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and closing networking deployment projects across multiple sites.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams (network engineers, systems admins, security teams) to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Support the development and maintenance of project documentation including timelines, task lists, resource plans, and risk logs.
- Track project milestones and prepare regular status updates and progress reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in vendor coordination and hardware/software procurement tracking.
- Identify and escalate project risks or roadblocks to senior project managers.
- Ensure compliance with internal governance, security, and operational policies.
- Support the implementation of networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls) in collaboration with technical teams.
- Facilitate team meetings, take meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
