Job Details

FTSE Russell is transforming our customer and colleague ex p eriences by develo p ing new platforms and tools that make it easier to launch and maintain our data and index products. As Principal P roduct Manager, you will define and own a product roadma p in line with the broader Index P latform Strategy and Vision. You will be res p onsible for the full product lifecycle through discovery, build, launch, maintenance and, if needed, retirement .

Responsibilities
  • Implement strategic plans to deliver product solutions that effectively support business operations and strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build strong relationships with internal customers of our platform and develop a strong understanding of external clients of the FTSE Russell Division.
  • Establish clear processes for gathering customer insights, writing requirements and defining success criteria.
  • Manage & develop our team of product managers as a "player-coach," balancing independent work with mentorship and oversight.
  • Collaborate with technology and operations partners to ensure timely, complete, and accurate product builds.
  • Manage your product roadmap to optimize for clarity, usability, efficiency & scalability.
  • Work with engineering leads and scrum teams and provide regular feedback on ongoing product development.
  • Hold ultimate accountability for accurate product delivery, including requirements documentation, stakeholder sign off and end-to-end testing within your product domain space.

Profile/ Skills
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in data product ownership / technology / business analysis / operations / application delivery in banking or financial domain.
  • Exposure to operations teams in the financial industry, ideally linked to Indexing/Funds
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence applications in a business context.
Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $139,500 - $232,700.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
