Job Title: Help Desk Analyst (W2, no 3rd parties or C2C arrangements)

Ledgent Technology is partnering with a local organization to hire a new Desktop Support professional on their IT team! In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team, providing comprehensive end-user hardware and software support to foster a highly efficient workforce.
Work hours will be Monday through Thursday 10am-7pm and Fridays 8am-5pm.
This is a full-time onsite role in Bloomington, MN which will be contract-to-hire with pay up to $65,000 annually with opportunity for overtime.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide timely and courteous support to end-users.
Perform general Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration, including user and group management, licensing, feature configuration, M365 mailboxes, Group Policy, and file/print services.
Address end-user support needs, such as password resets, VPN/connectivity troubleshooting, application support/troubleshooting, workstation/laptop support/troubleshooting, and printer support.
Manage personnel lifecycle events, including on-boarding/off-boarding, equipment deployment and return, status changes, and title changes.
Execute patch management/deployment for laptops, workstations, and software.
Conduct daily and monthly system checks and audits.
Oversee software and hardware asset management and inventory.
Handle miscellaneous hardware procurement.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Competently and professionally communicate with clients and other stakeholders.
Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft 365 suite of applications.
Strong problem-solving, research, analytical, and project management skills.
Experience, Education, and Requirements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Dedication to customer service and operational excellence.
Team-oriented with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory administration and Microsoft 365 Administration.
Experience in equipment deployment (laptops, workstations, mobile devices).
Competence in Windows operating system configuration, management, and support.
Exposure to structured change control procedures.
A two-year associate/technical degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
