Network Engineer
Role Title: Network Engineer
Location: Houston, TX - 3 days Onsite- Hybrid
Duration: ~12 Months

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions to support infrastructure carve-out and migration activities
- Analyze existing LAN/WAN configurations and CCIE Routing & Switching level experience and exposure will be beneficial
- Ability to deliver projects and solutions. Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure integrated architecture
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, and optimize routing, firewall, and VPN settings
- Develop network documentation, topology diagrams, and post-migration support playbooks
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of enterprise firewall solutions (Palo Alto)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS)
- Market Data and 3rd party connectivity experience
- Technical skill-set at CCIE certified level
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a complex divestiture program involving the separation and migration of core technology infrastructure. This individual will work as part of a cross-regional team to design, implement, and troubleshoot network connectivity for a transitioning business unit, ensuring continuity, compliance, and alignment to transitional services agreements (TSAs)..
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable network solutions to support infrastructure carve-out and migration activities
- Analyze existing LAN/WAN configurations and implement segmentation strategies for separating divested business units
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, and infrastructure teams to ensure integrated architecture
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, and optimize routing, firewall, and VPN settings
- Develop network documentation, topology diagrams, and post-migration support playbooks
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering roles
- Strong experience with VPN, SD-WAN, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, and firewalls
- Familiarity with cloud networking (Azure or AWS), including hybrid connectivity models
- Experience working on carve-outs, migrations, or complex enterprise IT transformations is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed teams
