Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in Integrated Justice Information System (IJIS)
development
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience developing in the Clark County Integrated Justice
Information System (CC-IJIS) BizTalk environment
Expert level/Minimum eight (8) years' experience in:
BizTalk Development
Azure Integrations Development
Pass required background checks for CJIS data access

Preferred Skills:
Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal
skills.
Expert level/Minimum eight (8) years' experience in:
MS SQL (MySQL / PL/SQL / Stored Procedures)
XML / JSON
Web Service (RESTful / SOAP) development and implementation
HTML5
Data Exchange work utilizing the GJXDM standard.
Proficient command of written and spoken English, should demonstrate fluency in both oral and
written communications.

Duties, Scope of Work, and/or Milestones:
This position will function as the lead developer in a modernization project to move the existing CLIENT environment from BizTalk into Microsoft Azure. In addition to expertise in both BizTalk and Azure integration tools, extensive knowledge of the existing CLIENT environment is necessary to ensure migration and reproduction of all functionalities.
Technologies include BizTalk, Azure APIM, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, MS SQL Server, XML / JSON, Web Services, and HTML5. Specifically, this position will develop a new CLIENT environment in the Azure Government Cloud replacing all existing functionality, migrate data exchange from BizTalk into the Azure environment, develop monitoring tools for data exchange, and train county staff to appropriately support the developed solution.

Milestone Deliverables:
Design complete Azure solution for migration of CLIENT environment
Work with County Network team to determine appropriate networking solution for CLIENT data transmission
Develop secure large file transmission solution to incorporate into CLIENT
Develop implementation plan to seamlessly migrate CLIENT with minimal downtime
Create and deliver appropriate technical documentation to project needs throughout development process
Migrate full CLIENT functionality into Azure and related tools
Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the project by actively participating as a member of the team in daily, weekly, and monthly meetings.
Deliver assigned project on schedule. If project is in jeopardy of not meeting deadline, inform development team within 24 hours of determination.
Communicate development roadblocks to development team within 24 hours of determination.

Daily/Weekly expectations:
Design/develop functionality meeting the needs of determined project requirements and bugs.
Deliver weekly progress for development team.
Analyze and correct technical issues as found, providing weekly bug status updates.
Evaluate and recommend integration design solutions.
Maintain and communicate status of work performed bi-weekly at minimum.
Updates tasks in Azure DevOps boards corresponding to work efforts.
