Cloud Engineer / Windows Server Admin (789761)

Introduction:

This position is for a Cloud Engineer/Windows Server Admin who will be responsible for a combination of cloud engineering duties and server administration tasks. The role is remote and requires strong expertise in Windows Server Administration, specifically with Server 2019 and Server 2022.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Server 2019 and Server 2022.
  • Implement full-stack web applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript on the front-end.
  • Implement serverless backend solutions.
  • Work with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Node.js.
  • Ensure adherence to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions on the AWS platform.
  • Adhere to industry best practices for software engineering.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

  • Windows Server Administration (Server 2019 & Server 2022) - 10 years of experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with the AWS Cloud Platform - 5 years of experience
  • Experience implementing full-stack web applications with React, Node.js, TypeScript - 5 years of experience
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Node.js) - 8 years of experience
  • Understanding of version control, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines - 5 years of experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform
  • Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator)
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
